1. Introduction

This project implements an automated greenhouse ventilation system using Home Assistant. The project is personal: my grandparents have a Schrebergarten with a greenhouse where they grow vegetables such as cucumbers and tomatoes. During warm summer periods, the greenhouse climate can drift away from crop-friendly conditions, which makes ventilation a recurring manual task that is often needed every evening.</description>
